About

Hi friends!

Gathering around the table brings a quiet nostalgia from my childhood - something I want to pass on to my children, and one day, my grandchildren. It’s in these moments of meals shared, conversations had, and memories made - that the heart of the home is truly built.

Here at The Homemaker’s Table, I share simple ways to care for your home, gentle rhythms for your days, and encouragement for motherhood that feels calm, meaningful, and doable. From nourishing meals to everyday routines, from homeschool days to the work of keeping a home, everything shared here is meant to support a life that is both simple and full.

So, grab your favorite cup of coffee and welcome to The Homemaker's Table.

I am Shara - a child of God and wholeheartedly devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. I spend much of my time in the kitchen, baking sourdough, crafting and trying new recipes. When I’m not donning an apron, you’ll likely find me out-of-doors tending to our small homestead, taking slow walks through nature, reading a good book, studying my Bible, or watching my girls play.

Our home is full, busy, and well-lived in, and I’ve learned that creating a peaceful home isn't making it perfect, but from simple rhythms and small habits each day.

I homeschool my children in a Charlotte Mason–inspired way that is simple. Our days aren’t perfect or rigid. We follow a rhythm that works for our home, and a lot of our learning happens in the middle of real life. I strive to bring in Truth, Beauty, and Goodness to our days. I’m proud to be raising old-fashioned children in a world that moves a little too fast.

I truly believe that a good week, a few small changes, and a couple new habits paired with a good attitude can make all the difference in our homes. Live simply. Live joyfully.
